About the studio

We started insightfunnudge.life to slow the internet down — just a little.

Founded in 2019 by a behavioral economist and a former product designer, the studio grew out of a shared frustration: the most well-funded interfaces in the world were optimized to extract attention, not honor it. We thought there was another way to design.

Two colleagues talking thoughtfully at a wooden studio table with notebooks

A practice built on patience.

Most consultancies move at the speed of slide decks. We move at the speed of understanding. A typical engagement begins with two weeks of listening — to your team, your customers, and the data you don't usually look at. Only then do we propose anything.

It is not the fastest way to work. It is the way that produces interventions that outlive a single quarter.

What we believe

Five quiet principles.

01 · Evidence is kind

Citing the study takes longer than guessing. It also respects everyone in the room.

02 · Friction can be care

A pause before a costly decision is a gift, not a bug. Design accordingly.

03 · Defaults are ethics

Whatever you pre-select is what most people will choose. Choose with conscience.

04 · Measure what matters

Conversion is a signal. Regret is a signal. Renewal is a signal. Use all three.

05 · Less, finished well

We would rather ship one careful experiment than five hurried ones.
